Policy Agreement Form

The United Doves are the foundation of our business.  A great deal of time, energy, and talent goes into training each and every member of our 150 bird flying team.  The ceremonial doves that we use are living animals, because the care and safety of our birds is one of our top priorities, we have to implement policies that we feel will keep our team out of harms way after the doves are released to return home.

  • We will NOT release the United Doves at night.
  • We will NOT release the birds in inclement weather (this is at the sole discretion of the dove-handler).
  • We will NOT ship United Doves by mail for self-release.  At times it may be necessary to ship our birds to our various dove handlers throughout the state, this is done according to U.S.P.S regulations, as well as laws set forth by the American Racing Pigeon Union (A.R.P.U).  We are proud members of this organization, and do not support any in-humane acts that would risk injury to our birds.  We usually only allow our trained handlers to handle the doves, but with assistance our handlers will allow a client to safely release the birds as directed.
  • We will release only well trained United Doves.
  • We will always dress appropriately for the occasion.
  • We will always provide at least one coordinator at the event; on occasion some events may sometimes require 2-3 handlers depending on how many birds will be liberated.
  • Due to the bird’s nature, we cannot guarantee any specific performance from our birds once they are released.  Traditionally our birds will circle the area a few times, and then head to their destination.  These birds fly approximately 55 miles per hour once they get their bearings and direction to head home.
  • Though this has never happened, we are NOT responsible for soiling of any clothing.
  • The only birds that we release are white rock doves, otherwise known as “proven” white racing homing pigeons.  Trained professionals “Only” release these birds as they are aware that there is a huge difference between a love dove that can be purchased from a pet store, versus a true white “racing” homing pigeon.  Please always inquire the handler if they are using true white racing homing pigeons.  It is unethical, unprofessional, and in humane to use any types of birds other that what we have mentioned above.
  • We offer a 100% refund if the doves do not fly (bad weather) within personal service area.  If the release is beyond our service area, the out of service fee is non-refundable.
  • No refund of deposit will be given if one decides to cancel less than 14 days prior to event.  The dates are reserved on a first come, first serve deposit basis.  We have the ability to perform as many as 4 different releases on any given day.
